Currently in her sixth year at Santa Barbara High, one of her greatest joys is connecting students with books that resonate with them. She genuinely believes that reading can change the world.

Snyder is an Academy Award® nominee and Peabody Award-winning Director / Producer whose latest feature, THE LIBRARIANS, premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and has garnered 23 festival awards and played in 200+ theaters around the globe. Her Oscar-nominated short DEATH BY NUMBERS, co-created with gun-violence survivor Sam Fuentes, has won multiple awards.
