Dez Alaniz is an archivist, educator, researcher and zinester living and working in Santa Barbara. Their zines can be found in collections across the country including  the Santa Barbara Public Library, Cal State University Fullerton, the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, and the National Gallery of Art. In 2019, Dez founded Honey Boy Press, a Central Coast zine distribution and education hub.
