Chelsey Goodan is a USA Today bestselling author and international speaker on girls’ empowerment. Chelsey’s book UNDERESTIMATED: The Wisdom and Power of Teenage Girls was chosen by Amazon’s Editorial Director as Best Nonfiction and has received wide acclaim from TIME Magazine, The TODAY Show, Hello Sunshine, and Oprah Daily which declared: “If you have a teenage girl in your life, you need to read this.” 

For sixteen years, Chelsey was a highly sought-after academic tutor while also volunteering her time to mentor girls from underserved communities. During this time, Chelsey earned teenage girls’ trust to advocate for their innermost hopes and struggles, which is the foundation of her book and her work today. Building a movement from her work, Chelsey founded The Teenage Girl Cabal, an international society of teenage girls who are working to positively change the world. Chelsey now speaks on worldwide stages across the U.S., China, Necker Island, Europe, and Australia. She is a graduate of NYU and lives in Los Angeles.
