Andréa Lawson Gray is a cookbook writer and culinary anthropologist whose books and collaborations sit at the intersection of culture, research, and the home kitchen. She is the co-author of Celebraciones Mexicanas: History, Traditions and Recipes; Convivir: Modern Mexican Cooking in California’s Wine Country; and the forthcoming Caribbean Cocktails: Potions & Bites from the Afro-Latino Diaspora. The recipient of both a James Beard and IACP Award, Andrea divides her time between the east and west coasts, where she continues to research, write, and collaborate on projects steeped in culinary storytelling.
